When it comes to Star Wars lore knowledge, I know far more than average fans. The Yuuzhan Vong, if I remember correctly, use a lot of biological technology, which makes it susceptible to the Flood. They referenced Darth Bane in the SWTCW cartoon on one of the later episodes, but after some reading I did, they confirmed that the only canon that exists for him is how he was referenced - that is, he was a Sith lord who (instead of wiping out the BoD), merely sat back as the Sith killed themselves off and created the Rule of Two. The point is that a lot of Star Wars's major hitters have either been reduced to mentions, or completely lost to 'Legends' as a whole, like Vitiate for instance.
