I benched my thorn. Anyone else?
Honestly have grown to hate this weapon since I have benched it. Now it's all about the last word for small maps. And Hopscotch Pilgrim for ranged maps.
Anyone else finally bench the thorn? I hope the nerf kills it personally. Haha.
What's your load outs these days?

I use TLW or Red death and my LDR w/ field scout or my matador. I always use my AAO with field scout. I just received an ill will so I may start using that.

-blam!- thorn. No land beyond life. Been flawless using it, it's the best pvp gun in the game full stop. It doesn't need a buff.

I usually keep mine benched, unless more than 50% of the players in the match are running thorn or TLW. Otherwise I've been playing around with some exotics I haven't, like SUROS, universal remote, and bad juju. Tbh, I still want a NLB.

Benched mine a while ago when it became too popular. Think I'll have to pick it up again before the nerf though. It'll never be the same as year one...

Same here. I actually used to be terrible in crucible until I benched thorn for the MIDA. Since then I've been doing pretty well and I've been digging myself out of the hole I was in

4 RepliesTLW? That's a lateral move from Thorn bro. Fulcrum or Redhand, that'd be a legitimate step back from easy street handcannon wise....Hawkmoon is also lateral lol. But it is great to hear other people moving away from these guns , i have. Max stability pulse rifles are sick right now and i think untouchable post 2.0 weapon tuning. New meta = max stability pulse rifle/ fast charging fusion rifle. Love to all fellow Guardians, death to that jackass Oryx!

Literally the same for me. All I use are Hopscotch, TLW, and MIDA now. I stopped using Thorn about 2-3 months ago cause I felt it was too cheap, finally just deleted it a few weeks ago

Bad juju is the thorn killer! You might die but if you get 3-4 shots before the 3rd thorn you win haha.

I put it away after leveling it and having some fun with it. Pistols don't fit my play style. It's all about scout rifles, pulse rifles, shotguns and machines for me.

1 ReplyI hardly use it never liked it really the poison perk was cool but not cool enough for me to like it Last word is a far superior gun But hopefully they get fixed In patch 2.0 and last word will be how it was mentioned to be
