In England, we sometimes have Monday off work for no good reason , and call it a bank holiday.

Same in America. We name them though. Like, we have a holiday which marks when Columbus landed in America, starting our genocide on the peaceful native Americans.

Yeah, but we have one in May that sometimes involves men tying bells to their legs and dancing around a pole whilst waving white handkerchiefs.
