My Concern with No Day One Raid

My concern is that refusing to release the raid Day One is because there will not be enough content to satisfy the aggressive and hardcore player. If there was enough content and difficulty leading up to the raid, Bungie would be confident enough to include it, knowing that the majority of players would have too much to achieve before even attempting the raid. Or even those who attempt it too early without being properly leveled would be faced with ultimate death and they struggle to realize, they're not ready. Ultimately to me this move means (to me) that there's a good chance I will be 40 in a day from not even trying. Also, the only reasoning I can see them making this move is because they don't want new people to feel like there's no content when some group goes ahead and beats the raid on day 1. Makes your $40 seem less justified. What do you guys think?

  • Play with the new things, go to the new places, enjoy the story(fingers crossed) laugh at the jokes, search for the exotic on the dreadnaught, level up the gunsmith, do the crucible weekly bounties, grind the legendary marks for the new weapons/exotics. Do skolas as a 40(wreck that fool) I see no need for a raid just yet. If in a months time I should have 3 guardians ready for it!
