The Real Reason Nightfall XP And REP Are Being Eliminated

It's simple. Bungie wants to 'help' the community by addressing the common player's complaints. Example (which leads to the main topic) - dead orbit packages gives a guy 4 bittersteel and a hanged man, but no revenant or femi solution. Fine. That person feels less compelled to play this game after playing for 8 months. So bungie tries to make this game more convenient for players that are grinding. Once we obtain a shader, it can be stored and saved in a digital realm that is separate from the vault. Also, this shader can now be duplicated across characters. In addition, once you receive a shader, emblem or ship it will be removed from your future loot pool. Cool right? Well, Bungie still wants players to put in just as much time towards this game as before. If anything, Bungie wants you to have to play more to still obtain what you want. But how does that make sense? It's called deception. Let me spell it out for you - how do you level factions up? It's quite a simple thing: it's leveling up with reputation points. So how is this related to the nightfalls? Well, Bungie is making some modifications to make it harder to level up your factions. We're supposedly gaining buffs to our rep for basic things, such as bounties. But I guarantee you that Bungie wouldn't be going through the trouble of calling the nightfall buffs an exploit for players to continuously grind it out on the beginning of each week without a specific reason; you really think Bungie gives a crap about that? They are trolling the shit out of you guys. It's actually quite funny. Bungie has done things like this in the past as well. Remember when cryptarch ranks were so easy to level up? Bungie made it twice as hard to level them up claiming that your chances for obtaining legendaries after each rank went up. That's a half truth. They could've made it 10% more likely to get that crap while it's easily twice as hard to rank up. Nobody complained, but they did what they wanted anyway to make the game harder for players to have things done by their preferences. It's your choice if you want to believe me or not, but don't say I didn't warn you. Don't expect that hanged man to come so easily, because knowing Bungie your rewards will be more difficult to obtain than ever before. *edit - some of you people can't read if your lives depended on it. For those of you with half a brain: Bungie's purpose with deceiving you all is to keep you addicted to the game. Whether you're happy or not with their choices is irrelevant. Why do you all think that many of your beloved weapons will be capped at the year 1 ascension when TTK arrives? Use what little brain cells you all have to realize what is going on. *edit 2 - with this lack of additional support from the nightfall's buff, this will result to making red bull codes more desirable. Just some food for thought to those sheepys that aren't convinced. Edit* I was right. You can all suck my balls now.

    >Claims Bungie is lying or tricking us. >Deliberately misunderstands what Bungie has said, and even makes up shit (Bungie never called the Nightfall an exploit). >Insults those who disagree with him. >Uses the term 'sheep' unironically. Classic tin-foil hat wearing, conspiracist douche. Bungie is not some Illuminati movement trying to deceive us. They're just game devs trying to improve their game. Even if your fears are true, and it does take a bit more rep to level up factions, then oh well. Big deal. Why do you even care so much?
