I don't see your logic, man. I ascended all my favorite weapons in the [i]first week[/i] of HoW, and my desire for new HoW gear wasn't effected in [i]any[/i] way. Just because you only care about having "stronger" gear doesn't mean that the rest of us do; a ton of us want new gear for the simple fact that it's [i]new![/i] Those Adept Weapons, tho. Totally the Bee's Knees!
