Pacific,
Good write... sounds like you and I are in the same boat with having real lives and families. Would you like to link up online sometime next week and maybe find another to run something? I am a little older and about the same play level from the sounds of it. I have a 32 Hunter, 31 Titan and a 30 Warlock. Never did a raid nor anything that requires standing friends online.
Let me know what you think. Will be back on XB1 mid next week after work travel.

Pacific, I'm California, an older guy with a young family. But, I'd always try and make time for a cool group of folks to play (and learn!) with in Destiny. GT is RonTheTierHog. I just moved over to XBox from a 32 Hunter on PS3. I'm currently at 23 Titan on the Box. Thanks! Ron

Pacific, Last night I received an invite from a player I met from here. He was fantastic. We had a great time! He's super nice, patient, knows a lot, and helped me fight through some of my missions where I leveled up a bit, then was able to enter Prison of Elders with him, where I died...a lot! LOL. How's was he about all my dying? He took it like a champ! LOL. I sure got lucky seeing as last night was my first night on headset with anyone. What a great experience. Hope you see you online...
