Best scout rifle?
What do you consider the best scout rifle in the game? If it's rerollable what are the best perk combo? Does it work in pve, pvp or both?
EDIT: I made this before ttk and I still see it appear in the recents. Good to see there's a lot of variety in opinions

Hung Jury was my go to but I just got a Hand of Judgement with Perfect Balance Explosive Rounds Crowd Control / Eye of the Storm Gotta say I like this gun

1 ReplyEveryone's gonna say hung jury, and granted, it is a good weapon. However, my focus is PvP and I found a true gem with the "Not Like the Others" from vanguard quarter master. It's got: - Same impact/rof as the jury - Slightly less stability (although the recoil pattern is very manageable, don't need/recommend a stability perk) then jury - Crowd control (increased damage after a kill) - Reactive reload (increased damage once you reload after a kill) - Feather mag (maxes out reload) - And yes... Crowd control and reactive reload DO stack Add scout rifle loader gauntlets and you have a serious force to be reckoned with NLTO > HJ :)

1 ReplyI've got a Treads upon stars, Not like the others, the Omolon armsday scout, and whatever the Crucible one is called. I would love to use them..[i]but[/i] i have all of..12 weapon parts? So, they're all just collecting dust. And the exotic Scouts, but I don't use them tooooo too much. But, my armsday scout has absolutely zero recoil, its stabilty bar is all the way maxed out. With firefly and zero recoil, it's nice to use. Although, I have no idea why they only have it a whopping 13 rounds. (ಠ_ಠ)

4 RepliesI bought the last extremity from the crucible vendor for iron banner and fell in love. It does 73 a headshot The accuracy is amazing and it is a sneaky strong gun. You take out snipers before they get their second shot of if they miss the first because they took one to the face. Vendor version is a great option for 6v6 game modes. For trials I would probably want firefly. Smallbore and I'm not sure on the first perk. Lots of good options. I highly recommend picking it up when you have 150 marks to spend

I have to say Hung Jury(Dead Orbit weapon) is the best all around good in pvp and pve. Messed around with Threads Upon Stars(Bond Brothers/Valus drop) its ok but mine has little too much recoil but the exploding ammo is fun. I love Tlaloc but only when I have the super charged seems underwhelming without it. Thats why when pvping I will start out with Hung Jury then switch to Tlaloc once my super is full.

Mayhem , the Tlaloc is the best. Regular I save my super and use Tlaloc. Without super ill use the Tuonela SR4, max stability its great for easy headshot kills. Hung jury is great, but had more recoil than the Tuonela.
