It's not a dlc it's like a new game. I wish they didn't advertise it like that

It's actually an expansion.
-
Dark below and house of wolfs were both called expansions but had 70% less content than what actual expansions have. And also expansions expand he game which taken king does by adding a new area but dark below and house of wolfs do not.
-
I wouldnt go that far......vanilla destiny had a lot and i paid £40 for that, this dlc doesn't have the same content as vanilla destiny.
-
Vainilla destiny did not have a lot.

Edited by boff: 8/28/2015 1:26:29 AMit had quite a lot. it had 6 strikes, a raid(best raid and arguably the best rewards), knightfall, weeklies, dailies, crucible with 6 modes and about 8 maps. it had earth, moon venus and mars it had the tower social space also had 5 factions with different armour and weapons strike playlist iron banner queens wrath 6 exotic quest plus a ton of other exotic armour and weapons and a 9 hour story campaign plus 4 patrol free roam areas it also came with each character having 2 sub classes
-
4 hours campaign* 4 small "free roam" areas 8 pvp maps 6 10 minute strikes 1 broken raid Armor and weapons. That's unacceptable for any rpgish game.

Edited by boff: 8/28/2015 1:33:27 AMraid was good, once it was fixed..........people moaned about strikes when they were to long. campaign was 9 hours for me but i guess you could easily run through it if you wanted to. wow....for someone who is so negative about the game how can you defend its pricing and what makes you think ttk will offer any more

-
yes they did, no one like dust palace because it was to long.......for replay value in strike list no one wants a long strike. so what is your point? the game is sh!t, but it started sh!t so continie to pay the shit prices....is that your point
-
My point is you're saying vainilla destiny had a lot when it actually lacked content
-
yes it did lack content, but ttk will not bring more than vanilla destiny...it will expand on it so overall content is larger but its not the size of vanilla destiny

An expansion is neither a game or a piece of dlc and an expansion is what The Taken King is.
-
Hence the price tag between 20 and 60?
-
Yes, but I believe dlc has been sold for around 20 and thirty.
-
But didn't we establish this is an expansion?

Edited by Enceladus12: 8/27/2015 10:27:47 PMI love your name.. Anyway, yes we did. If there is another country that is selling TTK for less than forty we can still very well say that TTK is an expansion and being priced as one. The only ripoff for us Americans is the 20$ Collector's upgrade consisting of cosmetic items and dance movies; altogether it's 60$ and here in America that's worth a whole game.
