If you think much is going to change at all with this game other than weapon balancing and slight number tweaks then you're being a bit too hopeful about what most "betas" really are. An open beta test is less about testing the game and more about testing severs and online play. Be realistic, they did a beta for BFH and Destiny and look how they turned out.
