I've seen that theory before, and it makes sense if we're Human or Exo, but it doesn't make sense of we choose to be an Awoken
-
Also thought of that. Good work for noticing too.
-
That depends, were the awoken born during or after the collapse?
-
The Awoken were born towards the end of the Collapse, as the Darkness was being pushed back. The Dark and Light together hanged them. So it wouldn't make much sense because Dr. Shim was a Golden Age scientist
-
Well at that point all humans were living to be about 300. And we know that he was already researching the vex so it would have likely been towards the end of the golden age anyway. Plus the awoken used to be human right? So he could have fled and become one of them, then gone back... Yah know what? As I'm writing this I am realising how far I am stretching probability. But an awoken being in the cosmodrome in the first place is already a pretty darn big stretch. So I'll leave it at that.
-
I think awoken are human who survived cryo sleep malfunctions that's why they have blue skin and can be found on earth especially the cosmodrome
-
That would explain why most of them are in the reef and some are not. Unfortunately that is not how they were born. It has something to do with them fleeing and being exposed to an excessive amount of both dark and light forces or something like that. Actually the story we play was going to be the exo story. The awoken would have had us be banished from the reef.
-
Yeah, good point. We are playing what used to be the Exo storyline, anyway
-
They were going to have multiple story lines?
-
Yeah. The one we play was the Exo storyline (at least in the beginning). Humans were supposed to hop on a City ship from the wilderness and meeting up with your Ghost there. Awoken were supposed to be banished from the Reef and sent to Earth
-
Damn. Day one plus lots of pre release excitement and I never heard of this. Though I was thinking for a while that it should be like that.
