How can you suck with a shotty?

If you'd seen me last night you would know. Iron banner, point blank, 5 shots, all but half of one missed. I would have loved to say it was lag but sometimes nothing goes right and missing 5 shotguns shots at point blank can apparently happen.

There is a sweet spot (number) that lets you adjust something within your network settings that would allow all kinds of crazy advantages, but will not reflect in game.
