Its pretty much a PvE exclusive, you'll have to walk around firing your primary off and be reloading constantly, it takes up your exotic slot and you'll have to get like 250 glimmer for it to even be worth it. It also only has a [b]CHANCE[/b] to drop glimmer and the second perk is actually a disadvantage since its taking away orbs you may want to save for recharging your super after you use it.
Probably the worst designed weapon/armour in the game.
ATS-Arachnid > Alchemist's Raiment.

I always play the warlock, and that means - during night falls especially- that i [i]never[/i] use my super, unless the team wipes. So I can go a very long time on raids, NFs and weeklys with a full super. I think it's awesome that those orbs aren't useless anymore and can recharge my grenades and melees. The glimmer pick up is cool too. I mean is it as useful as the ram in PvE? Debatable. But It's better than purifier robes in PvE, better than claws of akakaksksks or whatever
