No, not really. There are lots of good exotics like Armamentarium, Symbiote, Celestial Nighthawk, Dont touch me, NLB, MIDA, Obsidian Mind etc etc that are really top tier and offer fun playstyle without being overpowered. World isn´t black and white, stop thinking in two extremes.

These are those exotics, meant for specific play styles. Double Escape Artist or Double Backstab for crucible doesn't sound bad whatsoever. I'm saying if the perk was like "increased blink strike range" then op would lose his shit.

Double Escape Artist or Double Backstab won´t do much job if the enemy OHKs you with their first melee (which is really very possible considering titans and warlock melee)...and you still have to hope that Backstab triggers which is inconsistent. And there is a reason you almost never see people using Escape artist in PvP...it just doesn´t hold up. It wouldn´t have to be something like that. It could specifically buff nightstalker giving him a second smoke bomb and furthermore allow nightstalkers to move through the smoke without being slowed. That woul perfectly fit their lore and I hardly think it would be OP...that´s what I´m talking about

Referring to PvE, double escape will be very helpful for things like Skolas when dismantling mines. Night stalker specific exotics are probably coming soon, keep in mind these aren't all of the new ones as far as I know.

I know there are more coming I´m just talking that about these ones-that they are a wasted opportunity and mediocre at best...a reskinned warlock chest with a perk that basically a rare ghost shell from the crucible vendor has ?... I hope Bungie is creating more and those are hopefully more exciitng, it´s just that what they are showing us doesn´t really hold up. And from a marketing standpoint I don´t understand why they´re always shooting themselves in the foot. Yes, it might be viable in PvE to get invisibility, but tbh a full strenght build with Don´t touch me´s gives you 4 ways to go invisible ....and once you use your second blink strike with the new gauntlets you have to wait for CD, Don´t touch me gives you invis anytime you want and has 0 coldown so for an invis bladedancer I wouldn´t choose the new gauntlets over the old ones. Only during Lighswitch and even then I didn´t experience many problems with the build before. As I said it might be useful I´ll give you that. But it´s far from a great exotic IMHO
