HOMEWARD DRIVE BOUNTY 2ND REFRESH:
[i]As the Hunters and the Black Coats raced towards Gold Base, shooting and speeding last each other, the noise of more engines roared from behind them.
A biker gang, a few dozen of young men on sleek motorcycles, speed across the sand of the Coast, their red jackets flapping in the wind. Printed on the backs of the jackets are the insignias of grey cogs:
The Gear Boys.
All except one biker, a man with a unique white stripe running up one side of his jacket and a helmet with a shaded visor at the front of the group, wield metal pipes, and waggle them in the air tauntingly. Their leader, however, wields the one and only Red Katana, the only remnant of their first leader, Hedeka Yamata.
The present leader glances around at his mates and gives commanding gestures with his hands. The Gear Boys howl and laugh as they speed up to flank both sides of the mass of Black Coat cars and Hunter bikes.
The Coats respond to the Gears' arrival by shooting at them, while the Boys try tugging the Mafia racers out of their vehicles and hitting their rides with their pipes.
All the while, the leading man of the Gears drives behind the anarchy studying the race in front of him. [/i]

[b]Frost accelerates ahead, trying to ignore the added competition. He inspects to see any others ahead, and check his placing in the race through his HUD.[/b]

You are near the the left side of it, the anarchy happening next to you, Black Coats vs Gear Boys vs Cyberpunks vs 1 Jack Rabbit. But then, from the roof of a Coat car, a Gear Boy clambers up, faces you, and leaps toward you and your bike with a howl, his pipe raised.

[b]I lean to the right to dodge the leap, and pull the La Duce: I fire 2 shots aiming for specific vital areas- one to the neck, and one to the lower torso.[/b]

You miss the neck, but land a shot on the torso. That was a waste of ammunition, though, because once the Boy lands on the ground, he is ran over by a Coat car behind you.

[b]Frost accelerates with 12 rounds remaining in the mag.[/b] [b]He tries to get ahead of the race with the ongoing 'feud' behind him.[/b]

[b]Donovan used his grapple hand to pull out a black mafia driver and tries to throw him at one of the gear boys.[/b]

You grapple onto a Black Coat driver's shoulder through a door window, but he resists, pulling back against your pull as you try tugging him out of the car.

I use my turrets to shoot at the car's wheels. Then I face a gear boy and shoot my shoulder projector aiming at his front wheel

The car buffers down, and trails behind the race. The Mafia goon is yanked out of your grasp. The Gear Boy flies off the front of his bike, and gets ran over by a Coat car.

[b]Phantym sees the Gear boys chaotic entrance, and shakes his head[/b] [i]They're still around, Eh? Brings back memories[/i] [b]He slows his Dradon, falling to the back of the crowd, and fires on some Gear Boys He looks and notices the Red Blade on one Gear Boys back[/b] [i]Hedaka's inheritor? Heh.[/i] [b]He removes his helmet and keeps firing[/b]

You manage to shoot down 4 Gear Boys. Suddenly, a Coat car next to you gets assaulted by a Boy, and the biker climbs in, hitting the driver with a pipe as the Mafia goon tries pulling out his gun. The car veers left and right, and then starts to slide toward you.

[i]Aw shit[/i] [b]He focuses and creates a ice slick on the ground while pushing the car away with Psionics[/b]

((Where on the ground? Under the car?))

[spoiler]Yeah, I mean I freeze the ground and the car goes onto the frozen patch[/spoiler]

((Okay)) You push the car away with a powerful TK blast, taking 2 KAP away, and the car slides out of the race. Suddenly, you feel a sharp pain pierce your head, and you are sent off of your bike and tumbling into the sand. A Gear Boy hit you with his pipe. He cackles as he rides on in the race. The Dradon only has a few scratches as it lies on the sand in front of you. You better get back on it and catch up to the race.

[b]I rub my head[/b] [i]He shouldn't have done that...[/i] [b]I speed towards the Gear Boy, and set my Dradon on Auto, before jumping off it onto the Gear Boys ride Before he can react, I shoot him in the back of the head with my Jack of Doubles, and continue on with my Dradon riding next to me [/b]

[b]With Etana off of his bike and behind everyone. He sees the gear boys catching up to the team and the black coats. He picks his bike up and speeds down to catch up with everyone but he stays behind the gear boys and starts shooting them with his pistol.[/b]

You manage to shoot 2 Boys down before their leader glances back at you. He then slows his bike down to fall back towards you, bringing the Red Katana back to strike you.

[b]He veers left to get to his side and he takes 10 data chips (290 left) and charges a laser and draws his knife.[/b]

He slashes the Katana towards your chest, leaning toward you.

[b]He slows down causing him to miss. He then shoots his charged laser at him.[/b]

He veers past your laser, and slows down once again to fall back to you. He then makes a quick strike towards your arm.
-
[b]His arm gets cut but he grabs the blade with with his power glove hand and pulls it away from him.[/b]
