It'll be interesting if the new hunter gauntlets stack with Gambler's Dagger. They seem like they'll be useful for PvE as you can go invisible twice, and for PvP two throwing knives are pretty good.
Plus the flavor text sounds amazing

I wonder if the smoke bomb count as a melee since they can be upgraded to damage enemies inside the smoke. That would be incredibly broken with the reload chance.

Gift of the Sun doesnt stack with starfire protocol so I doubt it.

Considering that's a third grenade and not a second melee I believe that it will. But this is just speculation at the present time.

I thought you were replying to the Nightstalker smoke damage reloading your primary. But I agree, yes it will not offer a third melee ability.
