So titans get angel of light? Maybe they'll find a use for it because warlocks never have.

I feel that's only because you have to give up touch of flame or double nades for it. It would have been much better if the tree had been shuffled around.
-
I have used angel of light when running poe for one boss lol

Edited by GoldenArms27: 8/25/2015 7:44:01 PMThe only time I've ever found it useful is when fighting Atheon, and only then in a very specific scenario. Titan drops a WoL bubble at the back of the room, I go into bubble with Angel of Light on then jump up and aim. This gives me enough time to fire 2 Gjallarhorn rounds before falling back into the bubble, instead of one. Like I said it's a super specific situation, enough so that I might as well call the perk useless.
-
Death from above could be fun with it. That's it
-
The perk gets used and is handy in pve, but for whatever reason the majority of people only think pvp when talking about anything in this game. Damn shame.
-
Two grenades is always more useful than angel of light. Helm of saint 14, or honestly almost any other titan helmet is more useful than this one.
-
No, 2 nades are not always more useful, depends on the situation. As for how useful this new helm is/will be, I dont know cause I dont have it yet. I dont know the stats of it, how it works with other gear I'm wearing, nothing. Neither do you nor anyone else, so stop reading a description and thinking yall know how it'll be, cause yall dont/wont until you use it.
-
Based on perks we have now, yes, we can judge how it will preform.
-
No, you cant cause they are not the same characters, which means different abilities; and they have a perk that's not in the game yet, so that means different builds.
-
We can, however, determine the usefulness of the exotic perk, because it is currently in game, class means very little.
-
Class means a lot cause the classes dont play the same. Ex: a defender doesnt play like a gunslinger which doesnt play like a voidwalker. On top of that, we're getting a new subclass, and we dont know how the new gear will work with that. Also, we dont have the 'pick up orbs when super is full to cool down melle' perk yet, which i think is gonna be key when people setup their builds for titans wearing this helm. Look, i get it, these perks didnt wow you nor knock you off your feet, but until you actually get a chance to experience them, you cant judge how effective/useful they are.
-
The only difference is super, this perk will not affect your super.

Edited by mmmtasty: 8/25/2015 7:24:49 PMTell me one situation that using angel of light makes any other method look silly or less productive.
-
Airborne modifier + Any Weapon (+ Possible Burn / Small Arms) = Bringing The Pain
-
Jump out of bubble and launch 2-3 rockets. Jump and hover while ground is burning.
-
When lightswitch is on and you're facing a group of enemies. If they cant hit you, they cant kill you. Jump, head shots with the fatebringer, boom for days.
-
me likee this a lot.
-
Angel was the perk that sold me on leveling sun singer in vanilla. Got killed by someone while they were using it had no idea where they went. And I used it during crota fight to spot sword knight and 2nd ogre. Never used with icarus though
-
Lol I saw one warlock using it. Chuckled a bit and hopscotched him
-
I love when people are hovering with angle of light in the crucible. They are just asking to be sniped.
-
Exactly! It just screams " shoot me in the head"
-
Lol, i use in PvP, check moi KD out, still good. The way i use is. In close range fights with ofc the last word.
-
Nvm. Mistook your pve kd for pvp
-
Holy crap! Teach me your ways!
-
Think about PvP, you're playing as striker, seeing opponents on radar coming outside, now jump up and take aim, but instead of shooting as they come out, hit your fist of havoc super *blam* they never see it coming.
