Change PSN name for ban, i Will lose my bungie save?

PSN have banned me for my name, and he ask me to change name. After the change, I will lose my Destiny saves? I hope in a good answer... Thank you !

Xbox did the same to me a few years back (I use to be EnjoiDesNuts) and everything is safe. It's like when you pay money to change your gamertag its just the name that's changing not the saves
