Why can the speaker tell me so many things but refuses to elaborate?

Because he still thinks the Traveler is our salvation. Osiris was exiled for learning the answers to these questions, ones the Speaker deems heretical and dangerous

The questions/things the Speaker says in his cutscene are not those questions that Osiris has asked. He probably doesn't think you really need to know them. You just have to fight
