I see in a ton of lore speculation that that is his body. But it is speculation 3. That was the wizard that I meant killed vel, (i choose not to say her name. Brings flashbacks of arc burn night fall) as vel's dying in the form of the story I know, vel is killed by that wizard and eriana 3 and sai move forward to hunt her down, and are split up from the rest of the team 4.
