There was a thread I just saw about what music people listen to while on Patrols, Strikes, etc. and that can stay up while a post questioning the future upgrade path is taken down? Okay...

I've seen all 3 of these posts and completely agree with everything you've said. It's just funny how the ninjas will take the time to remove them, when if we could just have one person from Bungie thoroughly explain what they're trying to do, it would clarify the whole situation.

They take it down because people report them. Explain what? It's simple they want people to use different guns other then the same weapons over and over they put out a report of the usages of guns in a weekly update to explain why they needed to do nerfs and also decided to remove most of them from ttk. You want explanations they are there is many different forms just gotta do your research

Then why take the time to nerf Gjallarhorn and Black Hammer and buff Hard Light and Necrochasm if none of them are carrying over? Seems like a wasted effort. New players migh want to do year 1 content, but the rewards won't matter for anything year 2. Or at least that's what it seems to be.

That has been answered several times as well if you just do your research. They were nerfed for everyone who will not did not or just can't afford to get ttk that will still be playing old content to make it balance for them
