•
Who was toland Who was osiris Will we find out on the next episode of dragon ball z
Toland was a voidwalker who was highly intrigued by the hive, some would even say obsessed. He actively utilized all his resources to know more and more on these enemies. His intrigue stemmed from him fathoming the reason the hive are capable of what they do is because of their ruthlessness. Furthermore he was the creator of one of the 7 weapons of sorrow, bad juju. And is the only warlock, and guardian for that matter who openly communed with the darkness. By doing this, he obtained word of the bringing of crota and oryx. Many passed his admonishment off as babbling and soon after he was exiled. Later on he was acquainted with eris' fireteam and accompanied them down to the dark below. His las documented words were "they will believe you are one of their own that is the only way" before bequeathing eris his bond. He then went to search for ir yut the deathsinger to learn her song. He has been mia ever since and no one knows anything else. Though I doubt he is dead. Osiris was a sunsinger and the pupil of the speaker. However some would say he was intoxicated by his knowledge and curiosity of the vex. He constantly allowed guardians to lay down their lives in search of answers to his questions. The speaker did not approve and exiled him. He along with kabr, pradyeth, pahanin, and two unknown guardians went into the first excursion of the vault of glass. While his wear abouts are unknown we are aware that he could have merged with the vex gates.

  • Yeah, I understand that you like to answer questions. All lore freaks do. Forgive me for saying many things, it's only a few: Bad Juju isn't a full WoS, I heavily doubt Osiris himself went into the Vault, and he's actually currently on Mercury and in contact with the Queen & Eris

However it has that insatiable hunger that cannot be appeased, similar to other weapons of sorrow. And let's not forget that you need to kill hundreds of guardians to sate bad juju. While it technically isn't a weapon of sorrow, I put it in the same category because of it's similarities with the confirmed W.O.S as for osiris. On the hezen lord boots, they say osiris was too close to the vex, hence his exile. Where else could you learn about the vex. (Yes I know black garden, but this place was still myth and obscurity at the time). Also think of osiris' emblem, the all seeing eye. It could be insinuated that osiris entered a time gate, melting his physical form (read flavor text from any class' exile chest plate, and it speaks on this) and allowing him to know all and see all. As being capable of roaming through the gates would figuratively give him an all seeing eye.

  • Osiris still exists, however. He is seen visiting the Reef with Eris to plan with the Queen for Oryx's coming

But osiris isn't supposed to have a body considering that since he was a hezen lord or had affiliation with them he would've been trapped in the vault. Thus his going into the gates

Ghost Fragment: Queen 2 Osiris was known to be interested in Crota and Oryx, and the other Hive gods. If that's not Osiris, I don't know what is
Ghost Fragment: Queen 2 Osiris was known to be interested in Crota and Oryx, and the other Hive gods. If that's not Osiris, I don't know what is
Brother vance? He and the other disciplines are his cult and would gladly abide to any all obligations for osiris since he no longer has a body. I fathom the parables of the all spring and the disciples knew of this, and are now carrying out his orders. You'd want your henchmen to be that devoted to you right? I would. I know osiris Is looking for guardians who have reached these requirements, however I doubt that osiris himself still has a body or is even creating these deals. If he was what would be the point in vance being in the reef if osiris himself could be there. I doubt anyone would be distraught, and it isn't like the speaker could force any engagement, since he isn't at the tower. Furthermore the queen blatantly needs as many allies as she can get so I doubt she would hold any hostility.

  • If you read the description of him, he seems pale, enlightened, and almost shining. Eris looks at him and flinches, almost as if from a bright light.

Lost ghosts who have lost their bodies and their guardians.

  • ...And? I acknowledge that Osiris breached the Vex networks, and there he reached enlightenment. He became blind somehow, so the Light itself became his eyes. To Eris's Hive eyes, he seems to be glowing bright from all of the Light he contains

  • 1. Toland was an insane (and brilliant) Warlock exiled from the Tower for being obsessed with the Hive and the true nature of the Darkness 2. Osiris was a brilliant Warlock exiled from the Tower for asking the wrong questions, turning Guardians away from the wishes of the Tower, and being obsessed with the Vex
