I cannot wait to lay down my icebreaker. So many other guns out there to use, but seem to get stuck with it every time.

That's totally on you, not anyone else. Those of us who are unhappy want a choice. There's no good reason why some exotics are moving on and some aren't.

Elitism. Guns are getting left behind (namely Thorn, Gjallarhorn, Ice Breaker, TLW, etc) because we overuse them. You noticed guns like Truth, Suros, Hawkmoon, Red Death, Bad JuJu getting updated, right? These guns are basically our B team. Don't have a Gjallarhorn? Use Truth. No Thorn? Pull out that Hawkmoon. Can't say much for some others though. That's my reasoning, I don't know what Bungie's official statement on the topic is though.

I would prefer they moved them forward too, if they made new exotics to match them. Right now most of them do not feel all that special. If I can only equip one at a time they really should all be game changers. I know after a month or so I will likely wish for it back.
