Toland the Shattered was an insane (but brilliant) Warlock who was exiled from the Tower for obsession with the Hive. He was the creator of the Bad Juju (a failed Weapon of Sorrow) and Shadow Price. He has several theories on the nature of the Darkness and the Hive. He accompanied Eris Morn and her fireteam into the Hellmouth in order to discover the secret of Ir Yut's song. If he learned her secret, he may still be alive.
