I have read, and I understood that the bible tells you to murder anyone who doesn't worship the same God as you. Christianity is a third-world religion that is way too outdated to exist in a first-world country.
If you don't follow what the bible says exactly, then you aren't christian. Simple.

There is a difference between the old law and the new law. Old law: harsh but necessary due to the exclusivity of the Jews. New law: because Jesus lifted the exclusivity barrier we are told to love everyone for anyone can be our brother in Christ.

Your presumption that I deny god because I'm afraid of the punishment doesn't even make logical sense. If what you claim is true actually [b]is[/b] true, I'd get punished whether I believe or not. I know this, so I wouldn't deny it to avoid punishment since I know that wouldn't work according to your belief system. I 'deny God' simply because I don't believe there is one. It's that simple. No ulterior motive, I just find the evidence woefully lacking.
