Thus far there's only been one game in my recent memory that was original and didn't rip off every damn thing in sight.
Bastion
So why is it so surprising you found this? - Welcome to the human race...nice of you to join us here in reality.
Get used to it kid - this is nothing new.
I hear BO3 rips off Titanfall like mad...that's the larger elephant in the room...lets be honest here.
Don't forget the tartar sauce! :)

Titanfall was a proof of concept. No content, but awesome and ultimately 'new mechanics.' Shortly after, every big name game adopts some sort of model after it. The titanfalls were the supers, the mobility was what COD is now. They just wanted to see how far they could take it into the future without people falling off. It worked, so it was adapted.

Titanfall was a pretty damn good "proof of concept" - more so than most these days. As for BO3 Dev's? They can't do anything original so they ripped off Titanfall. - Id say the guys behind Titanfall are laughing their asses off.

While Titanfall is expected to announce another game 'soon,' note the lack of content in the original game. DAMN it was good, but there was nothing there. Not much progress, limited unlocks, and relatively repetetive (though extremely fun and fluid) gameplay. Their company has great potential and I'm excited to see what they pull out of their ass in the future as far as innovations go. The COD movement system will never be as good as Titanfall's was though, haha.

Edited by Kage Goomba: 8/23/2015 6:16:06 PMYou fail to remember that Titanfall was strictly multiplayer/PVP. To say PVP has sufficient content is a oxymoron. Content has nothing to do with it. It's all about the combat and mechanics involved. Don't mix PVE with PVP. That said - Titanfall needed a PVE element regardless - its what caused alot of people to not pick it up (Like myself - Course I still want the game, just ended up buying something else) - some of us are not obsessed with PVP and want a little break for a good "Story" so to speak. Got nothing against PVP - its a matter of personal preference. You MUST have PVP in these kinds of games... just don't discount PVE being just as useful/fun.

Hm. I like this post. Well-said. As far as buying titanfall goes, I've seen it go for $8 new at my local GameStop before. Get your hands on it before its community dies, if it hasn't already!

Yeahhh...I've missed some seriously good deals on XBL - Keep kicking myself for it.... I only have myself to blame. That and my infernal loan debts...college seems kind of a bad idea these days lmao.
