When I was stationed in San Diego, I used to surf quite a bit. That being said, my friends and I would sometimes leave used surfboard wax on the floor of my car. The wax would melt on the floor mats, dry, then flake up when someone sat in the front seat. So they'd ask me what it was and it was just easier to say "uhh...surf...wax...bits?"
