I think that is true except for exotics, however I feel like all Year 1 exotics should stay in their place and let new Year 2 exotics take over. I think the reason they let us ascend all of our weapons in HoW instead of not leaving them the same is because of the amount of people that wanted to see weapons like Fatebringer and VoC was enormous. But I think they realized that this was probably a mistake and is why we arent seeing ascension continuing into Y2
