The problem is sir that if this keeps up, this is gonna be a trend, if we don't stop this now, this is gonna get worse other companies would do this kind of crap again and again. I don't want the game industry to turn out like this, and the fact that gaming is becoming part of the culture more and more is another reason that we need to preserve the right way. Im still a kid but Im old enough to know what's right or wrong (atleast on my eyes).

  • What keeps up? Don't get me wrong, I too see some trends in the industry that worry me. But Destiny was a lot of hours for 100 bucks.... sure, it would've been a better game if they released a bit later. But that's also a problem of todays marketing. In the design phase everybody has big ideas and most games have to cut back. (too expensive, not enough time, doesn't play well, not possible, etc...). The big error with destiny was that the making-of was too well documented, designers voiced their ideas, they made a demo for E3, packing everything in it, they had to date and people expected that everything they heard and saw will be in the game. Then reality set in and Bungie delayed the game and they also had to cut stuff that just couldn't be finished in time. This happends to a lot of games and has happend for many many years. But the hype-train and marketing is worse than ever before and the consumer is more demanding. The one thing which pisses me off it this damage-controlling way of communicating. I prefer honest language, like: we nerf gjally, it's OP! we leave some weapons behind because they are a pain to balance... stuff like that..

  • They hype works in the favor of bungie since they were the creator of holy Halo franchise. Should have been more cautious when activision came in... And its gonna be hard communicating if all we see is nerf this and nerf that. Especially now the nerf is kinda good and bad at the same time: good because theyre balancing the guns, bad is no ones gonna use those guns anymore because its not getting carried on year two.
