Yes. When you recieve the exotic in year 1it will be in your "blueprints" so if like me you dismantled the universal remote because it's gash, you have the chance to buy it back for a shard and 2500 glimmer. Then if that exotic moves into year two - like the suros - you also get the year 2 blueprint but you have to use your legendary marks, weapon parts AND glimmer to purchase that version. I hope that makes sense and isn't too long winded.
