Personally, I don't really like rap. I dislike rap because of all the vulgar lyrics they usually contain. I'm speaking for myself when I know that the only real popular rap songs talk about drinking, sex, weed, and/or other drugs.
But that doesn't mean I hate/dislike you :)
What music genre do you tend to pass up? Why do you pass it up? And also, have a good night flood.

I like almost anything but old country and all pop. Can't stand them.
-
I love all kinds of music, I just can't really stand most country and boy band pop.
-
Rap.... I hate rap
-
Bone Thugs 'n Harmony - Crossroads Give that a listen, Etheric. Modern rap is shit, there was a time when it was much more tasteful.
-
Rap and country.

I tend to dislike Rap and Soft Rock, but there's always an exception lurking in there. My real judge of music comes down to the singer. If they sound good, I'm willing to give them a pass (even if their lyrics are...meh, like Ke$ha). If their voices are awful (like Train and Sean Kingston), I want nothing to do with it. As a result, I listen to mostly instrumental music.
-
Country, screamo, and electronic music hate them all, some electronic is good but can't stand the other two
-
I dislike pop music. All they ever talk about in those songs is love and relationships.
-
Rap, or anything non-rock or electro.
-
I like all music =)
-
I'm not a fan of country or rap but I would rather to choose rap over country. I rather to listen to a song with some meaning then the songs that usually revolve around redneck things all time.

Edited by Saigo_no_AK: 8/24/2015 2:14:02 PMNone, I can at the very least appreciate every music genre. Take Micheal Jackson, for instance. We all know the terrible things he did, but look at what his music did. Inspired millions, paved the way for countless artists that came after him. I tend to look at the music itself and what kind of message it has, not the artist if that makes any sense. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't dis other genres. You have no idea what artist could have used from a particular artist you don't like and you love the song.
