My name is Broadway. And I pretty much disagree with everything you said. I do not support your "program" and feel that Bungie is making the correct decision to move on with the exotics. I've used these weapons long enough, it's time to hunt some new gear.
It's about the journey, not the destination ;)

Bringing old weapons along doesn't stop you or anyone from hunting new weapons. But leaving them behind sure as hell screws those of us that would like to keep our favorites.

That's a legit argument. I'm not trying to say that anyone who wants to hang on to old gear shouldn't feel slighted. Will I miss gjallarhorn? Yeah, but I'm also aware that this weapon is broken and is better off left behind.

Yeah, the Ghorn is OP. But ya know in some ways nerfing it is painful because the weapon helped get me through some of the boring content I had to grind for good weapons. With option gone I probably won't play as much. Which is sad. But all the aside, the Ghorn isn't really what I'm upset about. RIP MIDA.

I don't think selfish is the word you're looking for. I understand that you just got nechro, but we've known for awhile now that things would be changing come 9/15. Is it fair that I've had my nechro for 5 months longer than you? Probably not. In a few weeks we'll all be moving on together, regardless how long we've had said weapons.

Keeping necro and vex viable do not stop you or him from hunting new exotics. The reasons for them to do this are simple: 1) They no longer have talented game designers to come up with fun and powerful weapons that can compete with launch weapons. 2) They plan to resell old exotics in later expansions this year. 3) They are too lazy and lack the talent to balance all of the old exotics with new ones and they cannot be bothered to balance new content with all the old exotics.

I shit on the game? I love this game. I have so many hours in it it is embarrassing. Doesn't mean I don't disagree with their decisions.

Thank you coming into my thread and voicing your opinion. But not everyone wants to move on from guns and armor they worked hard for. Exotics should exist and be equally matched to compete with future weapons all through out the ten year life cycle of Destiny.
