Move on. In order to try new weapons, they've decided to make our current ones less viable. If they didn't, we would have no reason to try new guns, and in a looter shooter like Destiny, MMO or not, this is one of the best parts of this game.

  • Every destiny player goes after the new weapons. This is not a good enough excuse. Once we get the raid weapons we will all be using the same damn weapons. Instead of having weapons from all 3 raids that add variety to our load-outs. I think people skipped the vanguard and crucible weapons in the last dlc. They were only needed in the first destiny release to replace oust blues. Forging is gonna be a way to make us spend a ton of time making a vanguard lvl gun without elemental. We've had this game a year and they know we wouldn't waste time on doing this unless they made the lvl gap higher and forced us to leave the old raid weapons behind. I'm just hoping my raid weapons will be enough to make it through the new raid.

  • The community usually finds a few guns that are complete monsters and people seek them and use those. People aren't gonna try stuff that doesn't perform the absolute best. Until we find that better weapon they have hidden in there it's completely viable to use the weapon we perform the best with at this current time. And if we dig this "better weapon" more we can choose to move on or continue to define our legend with our weapon that is part of our legend.

  • I have tried guns from each DLC, some I have kept, others I have "moved on" from. It should be our choice. I doubt that any person who plays this game actively refuses to use new gear.

  • So, that doesn't seem like a cop-out design choice, to you? They couldn't just make GOOD gear that people would naturally want? (Which, by the looks of a lot of the new perks, is what they did, already)
