Simple solution, play Destiny in the present, not in the future. This will make your worrying irrelevant.

or just wait for the last dlc and get the strongest and best stuff and save hundreds of $$$ :-D they will probably have a nice deal for everything by then :)

Yeah but there's always going to be another DLC. I'm excited about the new changes, almost will be like a whole new game. Only thing I really like to do with the game now is crucible, so the only reason I'm buying the dlc is it is a major redesign of the game.
