1 - If a year 2 player gets a "boost" to necessary levels to play the Taken King, what incentives do they have to play Vault, Crota or Prison other than "it's just for fun"! Why would someone do a level 30 VoG, get level 30 gear like a Fatebringer if they can get a boost right past that cap amount? 2 - Is Trials of Osiris gear going to be like the Iron Banner gear where we need to constantly play it over again to get the best quality items? So once there's no ascension path, the only way to get a 400 Jewel or Messenger, is to go through playing that again? Because this is going to be the exotic re-leveling issue from the Dark Below all over again if that's done. 3 - Will we have the option to visit the starting point of a strike (think Devil's Lair or Nexus) and have the OPTION to be put into matchmaking for the strike? That way if you're on patrol, you don't have to go back to orbit, just to select the option again. 4 - Will Taken enemies be added to Patrols? 5 - What happens to Petra's bounties after the Taken King? Since the Blades of Oryx were removed in favor of the Wolves, the assumption is the wolves will be removed. So 1/2 of Petra's bounties will no longer be useful. 6 - Will the Urn of Sacrifice ever become it's own mission outside of the Eris quest? 7 - Will the transition areas on maps between the major sections be populated with enemies or events or will they always been empty spaces with no purpose in the game? 8 - Can The Drift on Mars get a purpose, because right now the 5 Vex that spawn there do not give me a reason to hop off my sparrow. 9 - Can planet materials be stacked similar to weapon parts and accumulate more than 200? I have 3000 weapon parts in 1 slot, why can't planet materials do the same? 10 - With the release of the Taken King, does this mean the Year 1 beta is finally ending? 11 - Is the glimmer cap being raised from 25,000? 12 - What is the cap on Legendary Marks and will our Crucible & Vanguard marks carryover? 13 - Will Kings Fall have a delayed release like the VoG did? Or will it be available from day 1 like Crota's End? 14 - For AFK players or avoidance players being teleported into strikes, what about players that will not move a muscle and remain dead the entire time... can a Kick to Orbit timer be added for people that literally aren't moving at all? Just teleporting someone into a room doesn't solve the issue of players going AFK. Now they're AFK closer to the action 15 - If Xur accepts motes of light and strange coins, what's the purpose of having both? Isn't it the same thing at this point? 16 - Will older exotic armor with crappy perks get updates or upgrades? Seriously, why do some exotics need more Special Ammo when regular pieces of gear can do that? 17 - Will Iron Banner have something other than Control? You have all these game modes, yet IB is still stuck with the same mode since the beta 18 - Deej said year 1 players will get "something better". Is that something better just the emblem for already playing the game for a year? What about the players who have not been able to access raid content due to no matchmaking? 19 - Is there any other game on the market that asks you to PAY money to make older content obsolete? Most guns usually just continue their quality on the same disc, yet now on the same disc, the quality of older guns & armor is inferior. Why would people pay $40 to make content ON THIS DISC inferior? Why couldn't that occur in Destiny 2 with a new disc experience? 20 - Did you actually read all 20 of my questions?

  • A lot of good questions, but 19 must mean you've never played a single MMO (or online game for that matter) in the history of your gaming life. Literally every patch update (not just expansion) makes almost all gear become 'less useful' with newer content, and stronger gear is added. The older gear works fine with all older content (just like the guns we have will continue to be fine with all the older Destiny content), while being less useful for newer, added content. This is normal progression for any online game that has any form of growth.

  • #1 Destiny is NOT an MMO. Never has, never will be. Bungie has gone out of their way to avoid calling this an MMO. It wants to be PAID like an MMO, but calling Destiny an MMO is an insult. #2 Other RPG/Action/Shooter-esque games do not make older content on the disc irrelevant. Mass Effect didn't do it. Fallout didn't do it. GTA didn't do it. Destiny has just as much in common with games from other genres, as it does with traditional PC based MMOs, yet they do not devalue what's already on their disc. MMOs work in perpetuity, the original disc is the base point at which they expand every 2 years. Destiny isn't anything like that, and will have a Destiny 2 disc in the future, similar to Mass Effect having different discs yet continuing their story. So no, this is not normal growth, this is exploitation at it's most disgusting form.

  • Ah, I see. You're one of those mentally challenged window lickers. I thought I could have a conversation with you, but now I know better. I'll let you put on your helmet and return to your crayon scribbling. You don't merit a real reply. [spoiler]For anyone with a brain, they'll see I mentioned 'any online game'. All of the games the brain dead guy responding to me mentioned are all single player experience games with a tacked on online feature you can access, not even remotely close to Destiny's always online multi-player experience. But since he has two brain cells floating up in his head trying not to collide with one another, you can't blame him for being as stupid as he is.[/spoiler]

  • Actually, I probably have more smarts in my pinkie that you will ever experience in your entire lifetime. Destiny always being online, doesn't qualify it as an MMO. NFS will need to always be online, is that an MMO? SimCity was a DRM game, is that an MMO or even comparable to Destiny? Silent Hunter 5 was always online, is that comparable to Destiny? Xbox wanted you to always be online before they smartened up, would any Kinect game qualify? Of course not, but intellectually incapable people such as yourself have a hard time realizing that Destiny doesn't have a true peer in video games. It has bits and pieces of comparable content to multiple games. However, when other comparable games do things similar, questions will arise. But again, you don't have the ability to grasp that. Just because a game always needs to be online, you think that's a perfect comparison! Damn, I am so glad my intelligence will never fall to that rationale of stupidity. Best part is, that argument falls apart with a simple question. "Why is the campaign/20 story missions need to be online if you can do them solo?". Don't worry, bask in your own stupidity of failure.

  • Wow, just wow. Your level of stupidity really is astounding. You have no comprehension of the game you are playing and still ignored the fact that I never stated Destiny was an MMO (only compared it to them because they share some similarities) and that it was a 'multi-player' ALWAYS online game, because the actual core content of their world is saved on their servers (even your characters you play.) But I'm through trying to even get an inkling of common sense through to someone who makes mental retardation look like an advantage. Continue replying all you want to build up your sad ego and live in your isolated world of delusional logic. Meanwhile I'll be playing the game enjoying it and not crying over stupid issues that make no sense.

    I have completely comprehension, it's your lack of ability to understand English or adults that's the problem. I'm sure your parents think you're special and somehow that translates to your piss poor sense of self worth. How the core of data saves, is no different than Mass Effect (your own shitworthy example of an argument). Mass Effect shared your co-op data, which TRANSFERS to your Single Player campaign. Clearly you never played the game, and continue to argue your braindead logic. Mass Effect does exactly what Destiny does, only in reverse AND, did it over 3 separate games with campaign save data to use your prior decisions in future games. And Mass Effect doesn't need to always be online, and transferred your online co-op stats to it's core SP campaign. However, the only time your guns became irrelevant, was on a new disc experience. Mass Effect never made it's gun irrelevant, they kept their core components the same while adding more content to the game. But again, you'll point out the acute and minute differences of an example. You'll say 5 + 2 = 7... therefore the only way to get 7 is that you need a 5 and 2. Sure son, but if you're going to argue logic and nonsequitur arguments, try it with someone less intelligent than you. Start with a chimp, that's an excellent test subject.
