Destiny is not a solo game and it is not meant to be played solo. Go on the forums, go to LFG, make some friends. There are plenty of us here, myself included who are willing to play with anyone. I can already answer the question for you, it is not going to get more solo friendly. You simply can't enjoy the game by avoiding raids, trials and other endgame activities. It might suck for you, but thats the reality of it.

  • It's not just OP it's the majority of the player base. Look at the figures, most Destiny players don't fireteam or raid. They would be financially silly to ignore this long term. Whatever the original intent of the game it will become more solo/matchmaking friendly as it developed. It already has since release.

  • Anything that is MMO-ish is not solo friendly. Why people would purposely choose not to do the most enjoyable and rewarding content of the game, I have no idea. I almost feel bad for them. They are knowingly missing out on a great experience. I like a good solo, alone time game too. But thats something like Skyrim. Not Destiny.
