No, their scrapping the whole etheric light idea. Their still trying to find the perfect lvling system for gear and all that junk. That's why they change it with every expansion ( it is supposed to be a ten year game ya know)

Yes, I'm sure bungie will soon perfect destiny in many ways that I just cant wait to see. They might reimplement etheric light later on but who knows right.
