A few questions to help prepare for launch day:
1) Faction ranks - if we edge our faction ranks to 2499 etc to turn in a bounty and rank up on day 1, are we wasting our time, are they getting reset?
2) Marks - will we keep any marks we have on our characters or will they get reset?
3) Shaders and Emblems - will the kiosk make available any shader or emblem we've ever owned, or should we stockpile them until launch day?

I suggest you only almost rank up one faction. You can change factions once per week, but if you dont mind waiting a week to return a bounty and get a package, go for it.

it's actually all of them on all characters, but that's actually a good point, we can't almost rank up dead orbit, future war cult, new monarchy, vanguard, crucible, and then turn in 5 bounties on the day (switching around faction class items), and rank up 5 factions on each character, getting a total of 15 upgrade packages that could drop legendary items!

Also, im not sure if packages will include a legendary if youre not level 40. Kinda like if you turn in a blue engram at level 8, it will be close to that level but if you save it for level 20 it will be a level 20 blue item

this because I'm leveling factions to that point right now but I already have a character to each faction, I'm good either way lolz he marks are important to me though, because I made it a point to max those out as well

My Hunter has always been Dead Orbit, the Titan New Monarchy, and the Warlock Future War Cult, I'm really looking forward to pledging my allegiance properly and getting those faction ships!
