Your current light level will become your base level. Example: You're a Light 32 right now, TTK drops, you're Level 32. You don't drop back to 20.

This guy gets it, it's already been answered in previous videos. I know some people haven't been up too date on the most recent vids, but I hope that doesn't lead bungie to re-answering some questions they've already got around to. If we're wearing lvl 31 armor instead of our lvl 34 when ttk drops, what lvl would we start at since armor and light lvl are being separated

You'd be 31, so its a good idea to try to have your good armor equipped haha.
