I see, you don't understand the difference between multiplication and increase. It explains why you used both terms interchangeably and have yet to realize that.
So when you multiply by a percentage, you don't add the original, when you increase by a percentage, you add the original. Your OP said multiply, multiply by 1.5 and increase by 50% are the same thing. But you said multiply by 50% which is half.

See you aren't understanding. You HAVE TO MULTIPLY TO GET YOUR NEW NUMBER. You have to multiply .50 to 100 to get 50, for which you add to 100 getting you 150. I see you don't understand basic algebra. I'm done trying to explain to you fools
