With all due respect: 1) weird spot for edit 2) your opening line was the definition of an MMO, and then you saying it is an MMO. 3) the max players allowed in one instance in Destiny is 16 (the Tower). That's not even close to the definition provided.

  • "Most MMOs have one persistent world, [b]however[/b] some games differ" It might not hold that many people in one server but it's maps are quite large and can simultaneously hold large amounts of people

  • Yea but I don't think that it classifies as an MMO at that point. Every game has massive amounts of players on the same server, but i think what makes an MMO, an MMO (sounds better if read aloud) is that at any given time, any player can waltz over to the other and interact without any sort of server swapping. I mean MMOs do have different servers, but it's like 5 servers holding thousands of players wherever they may be, but they're always connected. We may have to agree to disagree, but I just wanted to point out the other side of things. :)
