I joined a Group, but I don’t show up as a member of the Group’s Clan. How do I join my Clan?
When you join a group you need to set your Clan, as well. Groups and Clans serve slightly different purposes and both require a separate joining process. A Group creates a space for members to congregate and have discussions, while a Clan exists to represent their group while playing Destiny.
Being a member of the Group does not equal being a member of the Clan. Players must select PlayStation and/or Xbox as their platform to be part of the Clan. The button to select your platform Clan is visible at the top of the Group’s page. Once you have selected the platform of your choice, you will be added to the Clan (depending on approval settings).
Please note, you can only join a Clan via the Bungie.net web browser. You cannot join via the Companion App.
