What inspired your username?
Over the years I've come across alot if unique and wierd gamertags and psn usernames. So I thought I would make a post and see how you guys came up with them.
I created mine about 10 years ago when I was big into the game runescape. I really wanted it to be "awhisperinthedark" but it was taken already and I really didn't want to have number in my name. But after trying for a good hour with different variations I made mine darkvoice7 and had to settle with a number at the end which was my favourite number. Since then it's the one I use for all online games, and I use darkvoice8 for forums and stuff.
If we can get this trending and keep it trending then maybe we can get deej and cozmo to tell us how they got/came up with their names.
Edit: alot of these are really unique :-) it's cool to see how certain things outside of games can have an effect on how people made their names.
Edit2: over 150 replies wow! I honestly wasn't expecting that many :-) thanks to everyone for contributing. Im enjoying reading them, and I'm sure other people are too :-)

It's a reference to an awesome series. 2. Ouroboros is a snake eating it's own tail to signify rebirth or infinite. Therefore it's Infinite Wrath.

Later I was trying to think of a gamer tag (this was like, right after the club ended) and I was like "hmm infernoPenguin sounds kinda dope. Hence my gamertag

My first gamertag was KoRRupT117, and then I changed it to KKorrupt. When I was a kid I used to play lots of laser tag with my friends and I would always choose Korrupt as my codename. Not really sure why tbh, I just thought it was cool :)

People always pronounced my last name wrong, more like the -saurus in dinosaur, so I ran my first and last name together. The only reason I spelled it wrong is because I actually thought that it was -soarus instead of -saurus

A Vatican documentary I watched 16 years ago inspired it. The security surrounding the pope were all military and looked like gangsters on top of being holy men themselves. They were "Thugged out priests" I first used it when I used to play Americas Army when I was attending high school.

My name is inspired by the Minbari language from the Sci-Fi show Babylon 5. Zha'den means warrior and Arlenn would mean "travels in the light". So, essentially my name is Minbari for a Guardian since we are warriors of the light. If you want to get pedantic Arlenn is religious caste and Zha'den is an honorific for someone in the warrior caste so normally they wouldn't appear together. Someone born into the religious caste named Arlenn [u]could [/u] join the warrior caste and attain the honorific of Zha'den.
