Boo hoo. Grow with the game. There will be new weapons.
If you were given an ascension system, you would ascend your main loadout, and then complain that there's nothing to play for. It happened in HOW.

Im not saying you, im saying the people who are too blind to see what's happening. Heck even i got manipulated at the start aswell. Im just saying we should stand up to publishers like Activision because if we don't good games are gonna be rare to find. Like the others said theres only a handful of good publishers left.

Its not just ascending weapons/armor im talking about, its the whole scheme itself, i over reacted at first and thought about something different my bad. But im just saying, dlc/ expansion pack is suppose to add stuff not take away stuff.

If they are making worthwhile weapons why would keeping our loadout stop us from getting it??? Your type of comments is what poison this community. I'll ask you one thing. How would us keeping older weapons prevent us from getting new ones???

What power??? If bosses were challenging this whole power creep thing wouldn't even be an issue. Pvp wise combined arms is perfectly balanced. All weapons shine where they are supposed to. And it's not what you said. It's how you said it. Weapon ascension is the only thing that brings variety into this game. In normal games they get rid of the old stuff for better new stuff. As in the new stuff is pretty much the old stuff but better. But in this game since they have gotten rid of so many perks and perk trees we aren't getting better stuff. We are just getting stuff.

What? So you're assuming that the new weapons won't be as good? Hmm, I'm going to disagree with you there. We haven't used the new weapons yet, so how would we know?

My point is just that. Bungie says they have "powerful new gear" for us to go out and get. My argument is this. If the new gear IS worthwhile then what would it matter if we kept our old gear??? People are going to get new gear regardless of whether the old one is ascended or not. So why force them??? The first assumption will be that the new guns won't compare if the old ones are kept relevant. Plus seeing as how when they bring out new guns they completely get rid of old ones (perks, perk trees and all) then we aren't really getting variety. Just a flop in what's the go to guns.
