I think it was last december... or maybe June... anywho: Over 3 million play the game. Now I've watched ALL the official reports regarding player population from the OFFICIAL source of that: the weekly updates. So no kiddo. Majority of people do not continue playing a game they do not enjoy. There's always something to do. Always something more to be done. And if you actually paid attention to the game setup? You would realize a lot of the game's continued population stamina is in 2 places: #1. Raids/PoE. People want the rewards. They want Fatebringer or Lord of Wolves. #2. Crucible. All multiplayer based games which offer it thrive due to it. You want to know a game which doesn't? The one where a registered population is 0. Even Halo is still going strong with regard to the Halo 3 population. Destiny? Is a mixture of that multiplayer and CoD diversity of guns and abilities. Sorry. But pulled out of my ass? The game population would be dead kiddo. And Destiny is hardly any of that... but you believe WHATEVER makes you happy.
