but see the money isn't trickling to a stop and everyone isn't leaving. Especially most of the vocal complainers. If you check histories most of the vocal complainers have been complaining for quite a while but still fire it up daily and in 2 months will still be here complaining about TTK. Most of the people who are truly leaving and mean it just leave don't they? Not saying I agree with the practices. Only that whining while still playing and buying expansions does nothing.
We've known for a year what their practices are, how they communicate (or don't) and that they do not care about player time investment. Their goal is to get players to spend as much time as possible playing (grinding) while still attracting new players. Grinding for mostly shiny worthless things only to have new players catch up to you almost instantly has been the model. Players can protest all they want. A lot of things may change. That won't change. That is the game. There are no surprises here.

The money may not have trickled to a stop NOW, yet I suspect that sales of The Taken King will be nowhere near what Bungie are expecting. My comment is aimed more at the grand 10 year plan that I doubt will come to fruition. Can you not see that the tough shit rule tends to destroy customer loyalty? I'll wait for a year or two and see how the Destiny franchise is doing. If the yearly start overs, the constant grinding you mentioned and the ever increasing costs for DLC that fails to deliver continue then I truly doubt this franchise will fulfil it's 10 year plan. Bottom line, keep telling your customers "tough shit" and you will eventually have none.
