Personally I pre-ordered Destiny, the Digital Guardian Edition. I still remember how it was not the game that Bungie had said it was going to be. I still remember how upset we all were. But now I'm speaking to those who had pre-ordered Vanilla Destiny, are you going to pre-order again? Why? I really want to know. Personally I will be waiting for reviews. I'm excited just like everyone else but I just don't want to be burned by bungie again. Until I see game play and reviews I will be putting my money on hold. So as someone who Pre-ordered Vanilla Destiny, are you going to pre-order The Taken King? And Why? Edit 1: seems like a lot of people are pre-ordering again. I'm a bit shocked. To think people can still whole heartedly still trust Bungie. Even after they screwed Vanilla Destiny players over. That's one dedicated fan base. A lot of people quit over the year, so this isn't an accurate representation of Destiny players but somehow it is at the same time. I really hope TTK is what Bungie says it is, we'll just have to wait. Please continue to comment and vote.

  • I pre-ordered and purchased the physical Destiny Collectors Edition that came with a few physical items and season pass. The Taken King I pre-ordered the Expansion digitally because I now find digital pre-orders much more convenient and they are pre-loaded and ready at 12:00am, where as I would have to drive and pick up then drive home to play a physical. Also, there isn't a stand alone "physical" TTK available without Destiny and previous expansions included (which would be useless for me to buy). Anyways my reason is simple, I have fun in Destiny, I don't take it overly serious and yes I too was disappointed in the game I got on day 1, but over time I grew to enjoy the game I did receive. It's really that simple, I enjoy it, so I want more of it and with all the improvements coming, it really sounds like a better version of the game I've been playing. I paid $100 on release, a YEAR AGO, Bungie owes me nothing, I gladly pay $40 now for more content. Would I value my initial purchase at $100, maybe not but that is what I paid and I think Bungie is learning how to craft this game better and what things players are expecting. I truly believe TTK will be great and I look forward to it.
