I didn't even read your post, on just your track history, all you do is whin and bring up that one youtuber that just spits out nonsence about a game, I REALLY just don't like your posts.

That's fine, I mean you don't HAVE to like my posts. For the record this video in particular was from someone different, but that's beside the point. Like I was asking, is there a reason you bother commenting on my posts? If you aren't reading them either that makes even less sense. Just trying to understand, is all.
-
I read the others, but the walls of text are just unbearable after a while, and most of your posts are the same thing, just slightly difference. Its kind of annoying going on these forums with all the hate and the "we need to save destiny! Because uh, you know um bungie cares about a game, and totally not the profits in any way. Yeah! Thats totally what their thinking." You cant really save a game. I for one love destiny, but its not really going to change.
-
To be fair, I understand that is how you feel, but myself and others just feel differently about that. While I can respect and appreciate you having a different opinion, I don't think you need to really go out of your way to comment to my posts like this. Especially when all you are saying is "I hate you". Don't you think that's just a little over the top?
-
I can agree it is a little over the top, but you make these posts to help destiny, and I keep seeing you get ignored aside from good new cozmo and Wanda, and you keep on putting out these massive posts for the devs, but if you check the forums you stir up ALOT of controversy in the community, have you checked some of the posts? People are following you like ducks, and chipping at the devs/game, i just find it a little much that just one post can change peoples minds that much. Ill blank out the original comment, I like these back and forths in the community.

That's fine, and thanks for that. In my defense, I'm really not that active. I mean, others have made similar posts talking about the same topics. I used to be apart of the Debate Team back in school, so a lot of that carries over into the things that I say. I don't write posts to be a straight up dick, though. I really do love Destiny and what it can become, and I was a HUUUUGE Bungie fan. My eye just always gets very twitchy whenever I see "Activision" anywhere. That company just...well me and them don't have a good track record dealing with one another, lol It sucks too, cause I mean yeah they fronted the cash to develop the game but at the same time they are notorious for dicking over the developer. Blizzard Entertainment for example, I feel so sorry for those guys. But yeah, anyways. The only reason I post on here is because I pray that something constructive will come of it. I put forth my feedback namely because Bungie asked for it, like they always do, and I see the raw potential that Destiny has to be what everyone wants. I personally feel that there is always a middle ground for everything, and all it takes is communication to get there. I can get pissed, don't get me wrong. And that'll show too, I'm very honest when it comes to how I'm feeling about something. But I'll never act without reason. I'm very critical about myself in that way. Before I say something, I'll always judge it myself and often take a step back to gauge my words from other perspectives. Which like I said, I'm totally cool when it comes to people disagreeing with me, I'm not gonna fly off the handle at them or anything. I always encourage talking and discussing these differences in opinion.

I share the same opinion as you when it comes to activision, their basically sellouts, with destiny, they did split content for profit as you stated previously. also I wanted to debate on the video you posted, were they talk about the obsolete weapons, why do you want to keep your old weapons? Me, personally am looking forward to throwing out my fatebringer m, I've been using it for almost a year now, and its getting plain dull using fatebringer, black hammer, gjallarhorn as a setup ( btw, thats basically the best pve load-out ). Now, ill wait for your rebuttal on the topic.

Personally? There's a few reasons. 1: The "Red Hand IX" I have is an original, Pre-Dark Below that I got from one of those random rank up reward packs from New Monarchy. I remember seeing someone using it in the Crucible and I absolutely LOVED it. Everything about it, its just a sexy weapon. I literally researched how to get it and then proceeded to spend a month grinding reputation for the faction. Some inside info regarding my real life, at this point in time of playing the game I had just returned home from being at the hospital for quite sometime. I had back surgery performed to fix a herniated disc in my lower back which had crippled me, having lost all feeling below the waist. It was a hard time in my life, and Destiny was what kept my mind busy the most since I couldn't walk. I was having a really bad time that day... I would have bad days, where fits of depression and nerve pain would hit me unexpectedly. It was especially bad that time, and out of nowhere there it was, that Hand Cannon I had been wanting so badly. It describes me very well, and the appearance, perks and attributes it has all well define and suit my personality. It is truly my signature weapon and it never leaves my Warlock, ever. All other weapons in my arsenal are open to be replaced if I find others that are better, but this gun in particular is very special to me... 2: I don't hold much stock in cosmetics. While I tend to be more of a solo player by nature, I do enjoy maintaining a certain level of status in regards to my personal experience with a game. Emblems and Shaders don't really hold much value to me, and its not like I'm going to be "that guy" who runs his mouth bragging about being a Day 1 player. I would much rather have something physical that shows off that status, and my old gear does that perfectly. Even now, I'll have new players asking me about my Eclipse Maw helmet or The Comedian shotgun, wondering where I got them and how they can acquire them as well. And when I tell them they are no longer available because they were only around back before Dark Below released, that declares my status in and of itself. And I feel good about having spent that time playing the game because of it. 3: The old weapons that I have each have their own character. Personally, I'm actually against Reforge, oddly enough. Reason being is because when you think about it, the Perks and Elements each define the personality of a weapon. I think Bungie loses a lot of creative control by allowing players to just spam Reforges until they get a lucky re-roll to have whatever perks or element that they want on a weapon. The older weapons I have don't allow Reforge, and that's something I personally enjoy. 4: I don't want Bungie to just keep repeating weapon designs. I want them to constantly be coming up with new and innovative ideas for weapons and I feel like encouraging them to place the focus more on "Max Damage" rather than the actual creative design with attributes/perks will likewise encourage lazy behavior with weapons going forward. Like, Year 2 this is what they are doing now. But what happens come Year 3? Or Year 4? I'd rather we focus on securing the longevity of the series by laying down a solid foundation sooner rather than later, and I personally don't think that making older weapons obsolete by simply making them not as strong is conducive to this goal.
-
Wow, you made some really good points about asention into year 2,( btw Its your back fine now? I hope your okay). I can understand your love for the red hand, I have one from pre TDB i got it from a nightfall and never dismantled it after all this time. But most people just want to bring their op weapons into TTK if you go onto some of the posts, and even in the video thumb nail, most people only want to bring fatebringer into TTK. Also I wanted to know what console are you on?

My back is "better" now. I haven't been able to really get out to see the physical therapist but I've been doing a lot of personal PT on my own to rebuild lost muscle. I can walk again and use the actual bathroom, thank god... I still have issues walking or sitting for long periods of time, though. And yeah, no. Funny enough I actually just recently got the Fatebringer. The ONLY reason I wanted it in the first place was because it happens to be an Arc Damage Hand Cannon. My arsenal is setup so that I have one weapon of each type for every element. So like I have 3 Shotguns, Arc, Solar and Void. 3 Sniper Rifles, same deal. So on and so forth for everything else. I don't use Pulse Rifles cause I'm not a fan of Burst Rifles or Fusion Rifles cause of the charge time. I'm also one of those few individuals who likewise does not care a whole lot about the Vex Mythoclast. I seriously got one once and dismantled it on the spot in the raid and my team screamed at me for it. But if they presented me with another Arc Damage Hand Cannon that had a better combination of Perks and some better attributes, I'd happily replace the Fatebringer. I'm not THAT attached to it. The only Legendary Weapon I have a special bond to is my Red Hand IX. That was even the first weapon I used Etheric Light on too. Also I'm on the Xbox 360 although my wife bought it for the PS4 we recently got a couple months ago. She's a manager working at GameStop.

When i first got my vex I was lvl 28 with all 30 (before tdb) and i got cursed out so badly, and i rubbed it in there faces lol, and also since you have a ps4, wanna add me and we could play? There hasn't been much keeping me in the game right now, since all of my friends stopped playing Destiny. Idk it would be nice debating on some topics whilst we kill skolas or something. If you want to, add me, PSN:Trexies
-
Sure, I'll add you tomorrow after I've had me some sleep. Its 11AM for me right now and that bed keeps looking mighty inviting. Also not sure about how well that would work out, I tried to start a new character on there but I haven't had any motivation to keep playing it. I've got a level 7-8 Hunter on there, lol
-
Well, that just happened. You turned a hater into a new friend. I hope your physical therapy goes well.
-
Thanks, hoping it does too. It really sucks not being able to sit or stand for long periods of time. >_<
-
Sorry for the slow response, I'm at work, but ill help you get your characters to 34 and many we could keep Playing, during TTK, whelp anyways good night/morning.
-
Sure, although I won't be buying TTK until this matter is addressed by Bungie. Wouldn't mind hanging out and chatting, though. Also, The Witcher 3 is eating up a lot of my free time, lol
-
But TTK looks so cool! Anyway whats your psn? Ill help lvl you.
