This question is directed mainly towards bungie/Destiny developers because I feel they may be the only ones able to provide an answer. Why does the Mida Multi-tool have an impact rating of 37 and do 51(critical) damage in Crucible but the NL Shadow 701x, with an identical impact rating of 37, only does 43 (critical) damage in crucible? It seems misleading, and unfair, you would set both at the same impact but boost damage on one but not the other. This is problematic for players, like myself, who grinded for this weapon (NL Shadow), and wasted time and resources upgrading the weapon, only to find it's damage is identical to scout rifles with an impact of 35. Is there a reason for this discrepancy??
