This will accomplish nothing. Gjallarhorn also needs nerded. When you see "Must have Ghorn" because #lazy or #bad then there is a problem. There shouldn't be one weapon that renders others obsolete. Not saying there shouldn't be weapons that stand out, don't get me wrong.
Before you say, "Just buff everything else!" No. Reason: time. It's much more efficient to nerf a single "problem" weapon than to change every other exotic heavy.
In short, quit crying. Understand and accept that this game is a living entity and some things should and will change. Not always for the better, but I believe this is for the better.

So its much more efficient to nerf Ghorn than to make other exotic heavies useable? screw that, they should spend however much time it takes to make the game ballanced(and they have.... ohhhh they have.) simply giving dragon's breath tacking would give make it a HUGE contender for that spot, as well as giving truth clusters instead of GnH... this is from a PvE player though, i'm sure some people would be upset that truth would lose GnH, but theres no reason it couldnt retain this as a 'hidden' perk, or even recieve clusters as a hidden one. these are extremely simple changes, and theres no reason they can't be implemented. The ONLY reason for the Ghorn nerf is because it 'trivializes gameplay' however, I don't believe we should have to take down meat shield bosses with a hundred thousand health anyway. My third and final point is this: If Ghorn gets nerfed, then most if not all bosses HP should also be lowered. sidenote: i know a great way to nerf ghorn! stop selling ammo synths at Xur. Guess what? then We can't just use It for every encounter.

Bungie said that strike bosses will have more dynamics and a raid like feel. They wont be bullet sponges anymore
